Today, for some reason that I can't now recall, Gllen proposed we "shake on it" and proffered his hand to me. Instead of the customary hand shake, I did a little thumb grasp, bobbed his hand up and down, bumped his knuckles and pulled my hand away doing with some finger waving. This was like kryptonite to him. He let out an "aarrrrrggh!" and with a disgusted look said, "I don't do secret hand shakes."
I had to inquire. "Why?"
He sneered and shook his head, "I don't know any."
I looked at him for a moment. "But, I just made it up."
I tried to get him to do a fun hand shake, and he adamantly told me "NO." So, of course, I will now attempt to do this any time the opportunity arises. And I suggest that all of my readers do too. :)
